Commonwealth youth council is established to play an integral role in advancing the youth development agenda and the co-ordination of activities and policies of the Commonwealth in the field of youth. The council shall work for and represent the voice of all young people within the commonwealth.
The Commonwealth youth council is the largest and most diverse youth-led organization in the world, and it is the recognized voice of the 1.2 billion young people in the commonwealth. Commonwealth Youth Council will provide a framework for youth-led development initiatives, and will coordinate, harmonize and unite all youth organizations within the commonwealth countries.
