Zaspievajme si s Divadlom TANDEM

Leto je už v plnom prúde a my prinášame novinku od Divadla TANDEM – „Leto našich snov“. Špeciálne pre MaY nám povedal zopár slov tvorca tejto skladby Martin Michal Benčič:

„Chceli sme letnú pesničku, ktorá bude mať vtipný klip plný pozitívnej energie.”

A ako vznikla táto pieseň?

“Princíp bol veľmi jednoduchý. Chceli sme mať letnú pesničku, nad ktorou sme rozmýšľali už dávnejšie. Jedného dňa mi zrazu napadla melódia refrénu, ktorú sme použili aj vo finálnej verzii a už bolo potrebné len dotvoriť celkový vzhľad. Zaujímavosťou je, že speváci nahrávali svoje časti do midi nahrávky (zvuková banka počítača, ktorú používali aj staré telefóny), kde ešte neboli vložené poriadne nástroje. Keďže mnohí z nás nebývajú v Bratislave a už potrebovali ísť na letné prázdniny domov, videoklip sme natáčali na základný demo podklad so spevmi, ktoré sme nahrali pár dní pred natáčaním.“

The summer has already begun and we are bringing you a new tune from the TANDEM Theatre – „The Summer of our Dreams“. Martin Michal Benčič, the author of the song, revealed some more information about this song exclusively for MaY:

„We wanted a song with a summer-like feel, which would have a funny music video full of positive energy.“

And how was this song put together?

“The Principle of it was very easy. We wanted to have a summer song which we were thinking about for a longer time. One day, the melody of the chorus came to my mind and we used it in the final version, it was only necessary to shape the overall look. Interestingly, the singers recorded their parts on a MIDI recording (a sound bank of a computer that was used in the old phones), which did not include proper instruments. As many of us do not live in Bratislava and they needed to go home for summer vacation, we shot the video using the demo instrumental with vocal recordings recorded just a few days before the filming.”
