European Elections! Less than 3 weeks left!

UE(1)

May 22-25, 2014! Less than 3 weeks left to European Elections – this is the time to encourage your friends to vote and reconsider your choice!

According to the statistics in the past European elections, around 70% of the European Union’s youth did not make use of their right to vote so as we can see this is not 10% or even 20% but 70%!! Why young people are not eager to vote? Aren’t they interested or maybe they don’t care? No – majority of  them simply do not know anything about European politics, they even do not know who is running for election and for who can they vote. Why is that and who is the one to blame? I think that rather than blame someone I would like to put more focus on extending and increasing euro-political awareness among young people all around Europe. We, as a European youth, should realize that each and everyone of us matters. We have to collaborate together and vote! By this little vote we have an impact on result of European elections which means that we will have contribution towards creating future Europe and World. We need you to care because it will have an impact on your and our personal future.

Spare only 15 minutes of your free time to think about your choice and make a difference! There is nothing to be afraid of!
